Introduction

 THE SOUTHERN YOUTH PARLIAMENT(SYP) is a coalition of intellectual and patriotic Youths drawn from the 169 Federal Constituencies in the 17 Southern States in Nigeria with the primary purpose of addressing varied and complex issues of inequitable distribution of economic resources, insecurity, political inequality, marginalization, injustice, deprivation and social challenges  that confront the existing unity, progress, existence and general wellbeing of the Southerners through lawful delibrations and advocacies.

Representation are drawn from each Federal Constituencies in the Southern States.

 Distinguished Colleagues of the Parliament,

    As we all know, parliament is a place of deliberations were issues affecting constituents are logically presented and pursued with all amount of lawful energy and doggedness. 

   Let me assure us that; all lawful and conventional issues that would be raised in this hallowed chamber will be duly executed by the various State Governors, Southern Governors' Forum, Federal Government parastatals and multi- national Companies operating in the Southern Region. 

     The destiny of your constituency and constituents rest on your ability and readiness to  participate bodily whenever occasion calls. 

   If there is anyone here(I believe there's none) who isn't familiar with the political economy of his/her Constituency and State, here is an opportunity to do so. We will soon have the first ever Youth PARLIAMENT in the SOUTHERN NIGERIA were our voices would be heard and implemented. Believe me, something good has arrived. Prepare your bills  and motions for serious delibrations.
